Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Field Service and Technical Support to join its team.
The candidate will be responsible, in cooperation with the project manager, for a range of activities spanning from:
* Calibration, configuration and FAT of the devices in Zaphiro’s premises
* Commissioning of Zaphiro’s hardware and software solutions, in the field and remote
* First level software support, to ensure the optimal installation, commissioning and operation of the system
* Repair / after sales service
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in calibration and testing, a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as a capacity to interact with software.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
* Calibration and testing: Perform calibration and configuration of Zaphiro’s hardware as well as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to verify compliance with specifications. Ensure accurate recording and tracking of calibration certificates and compliance documents.
* Commissioning activities and documentation: Executing, and documenting the activities related to the commissioning of hardware and software. Activities span from supervising the installation at the customer premises, modeling the electrical network of the customer, commissioning the software platform, and maintenance and improvement of tools to generate reports.
* First level support: Verify the automated deployments via dashboards and automated tests, evaluate problems, configuration of alarms. Provide feedback to engineering teams for design optimization based on testing and commissioning outcomes. Assist with initiatives to enhance calibration, FAT, and commissioning processes. Remote and on-site training to support operational staff in system use.
Requirements
Personal skills:
* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent English and at ideally 2 other languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German, Arabic)
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in workshop and on-site environments
* Willingness to travel
Technical skills:
* Knowledge of power system
* Experience in commissioning, calibration, and/or factory acceptance testing
* Experience in Version control, SQL language, PromQL is a plus
* Experience in tech support
* Willingness to acquire software skills and understand new software
