The Interim Head of Accounting will oversee and manage the accounting function within the organisation. This role involves leading a team of 10 accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as leading key projects:
Accounting
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Payroll integration
- Travel cost & expenses integration
- Fixed assets
- Other subledgers
Consolidation/combination of group entities
Financial reporting incl. Annual Reports
Audit coordination
Tax
- Tax records
- Tax declarations, including collection of tax receivables
- Tax documentation, incl. intercompany documentation
- VAT, income taxes, cost taxes
Internal controls & compliance with applicable legal, fiscal & accounting norms
Team leadership & development
Systems and technology, evolution of ERP, linked systems and interfaces
FP&A support

The successful Interim Head of Accounting will come with the following background and experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience
- Proficient knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and French accounting standards
- Consolidation experience
- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance
- Professional fluency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essential
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Pragmatic, result-oriented mindset
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
