SUMMARY
Job Description:
The AO Foundation is a medically guided, not-for-profit organization that specializes in the surgical treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
We are seeking an event professional to manage educational events across various clinical specialties, including trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Project management of assigned educational events according to AO's Global Education Process and Educational Guidelines.
* Facilitating collaboration between operational teams (event owners and event specialists).
* Building relationships with chairpersons and faculty members to develop scientific programs and event details.
* Identifying and inviting faculty and speakers in close collaboration with course chairs.
* Closing collaborations with DPS DRIs on event technical support, education grants, and voucher purchases.
* Generating revenue through relationship/sales and instructing event specialists on available budgets.
* Managing regional/local community campaigns, including congress presence and acquisition of new members.
* Developing local networks by engaging with local partners and understanding local needs.
* Aquiring new members and expanding AO networks during events.
Main Requirements:
1. University Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, event management, public relations, communications, marketing) or higher Education
