Job Description
As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you play a key role in expanding our presence in the European Health Science Drug market by generating sales leads, driving revenue through prospecting, acquiring, developing and expanding business opportunities to achieve short- and long-term revenue and profit growth.
* Identify and pursue new customers and develop strategic partnerships with existing clients in Switzerland and Europe
* Develop and negotiate sales contracts that adhere to relevant laws and guidelines
* Promote our Company's products/services, addressing or anticipating clients' objectives and needs
* BUILD LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH NEW AND EXISTING CUSTOMERS AND LEAD KEY PROJECTS
* Establish, monitor, and coordinate action plans to drive business growth, considering both positive and negative deviations from target
* LEAD THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MID-TERM STRATEGY AND ANNUAL BUSINESS PLAN FOCUSED ON FINANCIAL GAIN AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
* Represent the SGS Health Sciences R&D/QC at industry events, conferences, and professional associations
* Collaborate with sites in Switzerland and other affiliates in Europe, as well as the Global Health Science Drug development team, to drive growth strategy
* Sell Health Science Drug services, leveraging our business infrastructure and resources
* Enhance our business presence and market share by managing existing and new client relationships
* Successfully introduce and roll out new products developed by the business
Qualifications:
* A scientific educational background with foundational knowledge of chemistry laboratory operations and/or the pharmaceutical industry
* A strong understanding of regulatory QC requirements (GLP, GMP, FDA, EMA)
* About 5 years of sales experience in the Life Science Industry for small and/or large molecules
* Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role
* Experience in customer support is beneficial
* Strong market knowledge
