We are currently seeking a Regional Director (m/f/d) who will be responsible for directing and managing all commercial office facilities and site services operations in over approx. 20 countries with a team of 4 employees and an expense budget of approx. $50M.
- Realize global and regional GWES (Global Workplace & Enterprise Strategies) in the Country cluster
- Understand client business strategies and ensure services, real estate and workplaces meet business needs and comply with company standards
- Ensure cost effective and efficient delivery and coordination of GWES services working in partnership with external providers
- Plan and control GWES expense and capital budgets
- Ensure capital projects are executed in a safe, efficient and compliant manner
- Manage professional development and performance of direct reports
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and management of the sub-region in line with Office Master Planning principles to enable informed decision-making on workplace, workspace and finances through the analysis and use metrics relating to the business needs, location, occupancy, cost effectiveness and efficiency of the site short- and medium-term building capacity and occupancy
- Prioritize the outputs from Master Planning to ensure optimal use of limited resources, being people; finances; supplies etc.
- Mentor and coach their Team in being the GWES interface with Country Leadership, attending Country Leadership Team (CLT) and/or Operational Management Team (OMT) meetings, as appropriate, ensuring understanding of and buy-in to all initiatives, projects and matters relating to GWES strategy and operations. Engage with Country Leadership as required
- Oversee the performance of all GWES services through established governance processes with external providers against agreed KPIs, savings targets and expense budgets
- Define service levels in accordance with business needs and ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery
- Ensures all facilities and facility services are always compliant with company policies and standards and audit ready
- Be a leader in promoting and achieving target zero incidents through the organization
- Be an advocate of continuous improvement mind-set to enhance the workplace experience to attract and retain talent to aid business growth
- Manage GWES expense budgets. Identify and understand budget variances taking controlling actions. Ensure the provision of revised financial forecasts and approve variable expenditure
- Set and manage GWES annual and long-range capital budgets
- Attend global/regional GWES meetings to ensure alignment with global and regional strategies and initiatives. Represent issues and concerns affecting GWES activities in the country
- Partner with IFM provider to identify cost savings and innovations in the operation and utilization of the buildings and delivery of facility services ensuring the adoption of best practice and continuous improvement
- Identify, charter, and manage facility and infrastructure related capital projects to meet business needs and promote the efficient operation of the buildings and workplaces (refurbishments, office moves, building infrastructure)
- Participate in the global initiative to contain company`s use of energy and support the company`s sustainability goals
- Provide oversight and ensure effective administration of Fleet Management

Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum: Commercial, engineering, financial or related degree qualification with minimum prior 10 years’ experience operating in facilities management or similar roles at a similarly senior level in equivalent related role
Desirable (although not essential):
- Project management experience and can apply change management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Has or is interested in developing six sigma or “lean” qualifications
- Member of a relevant accredited national or international professional body and involved in pursuit of best industry practices
The role can be based anywhere in Europe (ideally Switzerland) or within the CET time zone. Extensive travel (up to 40%) involved.
