Junior Product Development Engineer Software
We are looking for a Junior Product Development Engineer to join our team and drive the development of exciting and technically complex products forward. With your experience in firmware development, you will actively contribute to our development projects and collaborate with internal and external teams in an agile organized development environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support in processing and coordinating work packages, including potential sub-project management, while ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality requirements.
* Contribute to product definition, implementation of requirements in prototypes, and evaluation of solutions using agile methodologies.
* Develop, implement, test, and debug software for embedded systems up to series production readiness, utilizing standard tools.
* Execute, analyze, and document engineering tests, providing feedback for product design optimization.
* Evaluate new technologies and develop firmware enabling integration between embedded systems and cloud applications.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems Engineering or similar engineering degree.
* 0–2 years of professional experience, preferably in the medical or other highly regulated industries.
* Basic experience in firmware development for embedded microcontrollers and software development using object-oriented design principles.
* Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with familiarity in development environments such as MS Visual Studio and IAR.
* Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
