Job Description:
The Associate Director - Operational Excellence Manager drives the implementation of our Operational Excellence strategy at BioAtrium. This includes deploying continuous improvement, lean, and six sigma tools. They create a culture of continuous improvement and proactively identify opportunities for sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create Value Stream Maps of business processes using lean and six sigma tools to identify improvements and deliver effective solutions.
* Mentor, coach, or train team members in Lean / Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Lead and facilitate improvement/problem-solving workshops.
* Work with the team to uncover and assess lean opportunities, prioritizing projects with the greatest benefit and supporting delivery with well-executed steps.
* Apply lean six sigma tools to lead specific projects and improve processes.
* Collaborate with all departments in BioAtrium to implement key metrics and drive continuous improvement.
* Input into strategy to align and prioritize lean/CI initiatives and project objectives for BioAtrium.
* Work with functional leaders to establish continuous improvement goals and liaise with finance to validate improvement ROI results.
* Influence operational teams to adopt lean concepts such as 5S, A3, PDCA, standard work, DMAIC, problem solving, visual management, and lean flow in their daily work.
* Deliver or support improvement projects as required.
Key Requirements:
* Preferred areas of study: IE, Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Advanced years of experience in Lean Six Sigma, preferably in the pharma industry.
* Strong leadership skills; excellent communication skills and interaction with various interfaces within customers and project organizations.
* Structured, focused, and well-organized working attitude.
* Fluent English language skills; German or Chinese is an asset.
