We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Quality Manager (m/w/d) position at our client's location in the canton of Bern.
Duties
* We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement local quality procedures and work instructions that align with contractual requirements, local standards, and our Quality Management System.
* The ideal candidate will conduct internal and external quality audits and reviews, ensuring seamless compliance with our high standards.
* You will prepare, collect, review, and submit comprehensive data packages to our clients, maintaining transparency throughout the process.
* Effective collaboration with customers is key; you will manage delivery and acceptance events, such as materials and platforms, in partnership with our clients.
* In addition, you will handle QA-related issues with local subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and resolving any concerns efficiently.
* If non-conformances arise, you will investigate and analyze them through Root Cause Analysis and coordinate approvals with our clients.
* Source Inspection at sub-contractor's facilities is also a critical aspect of this role, ensuring that all goods meet our rigorous quality standards.
* Last but not least, you will conduct acceptance inspections on incoming goods to guarantee compliance with our quality standards.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management is essential for this position.
* A background in Electronics, Mechanics, or System Engineering would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with Swiss Federal Acts requirements is also an advantage.
* Experience in quality conformity audits is crucial, as is hands-on experience in source inspections of cables, mechanical and electrical assemblies, and complex systems.
* The ability to lead complex system delivery events is vital, as is experience working with the Swiss Army (an advantage).
