To support the industrialization of its technologies, Deasyl SA is recruiting a Process Engineer to join the team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for scaling up processes from the laboratory to the pilot stage and further developing Deasyl’s technologies at an industrial scale.
Responsibilities include:
1. Process development from lab to industry and optimization
2. Technology selection
3. Process design and simulation
4. PFD’s and P&ID’s development
5. Mass and energy balances
6. Risks assessment
7. Environmental assessment
8. Start-up and its operation follow-up
9. Optimizations proposal
Minimum Requirements:
1. Master in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field, with min 5 - 10 years of experience
2. A successful experience in project coordination and/or management
3. Autonomous with chemical processes simulation tools (ASPEN, PROSIM, PROII, …)
4. Autonomous in LCC, LCA and carbon footprint evaluation (Gabi, OpenLCA,…)
5. First experience on pilot and/or industrial scale units is a plus.
6. Good knowledge of the different reactors and separation technologies
7. Autonomous with a good spirit of initiative
8. Fluent in English and French. Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
