ROLE SUMMARY:
St George's International School is a co-educational, independent school, accredited by CIS and located at the foot of the mountains and at the doorstep of the lake, the school offers a unique school setting at the heart of the Swiss Riviera with an extraordinary workplace environment.
Around 400 students between the ages of 18 months and 18 years are registered here (day students and boarders from age 10+ coming from more than 60 nationalities). Children are recognized as individuals with unique skills to celebrate and given tailored support and guidance at each stage of their school career. Our structure of Early Learning School, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School means that every year group works with professionals who specialize and enjoy working with the students in their care.

St George's International School is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher (English Stream, Maternity Cover) for its Junior School to implement and deliver a broad International Curriculum according to the age, aptitude and the abilities of the pupils being taught. The teacher will maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school both inside and outside of the classroom at all times. Teachers will contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and members of the board of directors. We are looking for an exceptional teacher who has experience teaching students aged 7+ and who is committed to strive for excellent, continuous improvement, and who is keen to inspire and enthuse students.

* Act as a role model for the students and as an ambassador for the school, both in terms of behaviour and adherence to the school's dress code;
* Be a team player and have good relationships with colleagues and parents;
* Be resilient and have a good sense of humour.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Experience working with students in a primary school setting;
* Confidence with use of ICT in teaching;
* University degree;
* Certified Teaching Status;
* Appropriate right to work.
