Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Representative to collaborate with our customer care center and efficiently schedule service visits to meet and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a technical education or chemical background, proficiency in German and English, and excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and demonstrate our Molecular and Chromatography products, instructing customers on use.
* Perform preventive maintenance and qualifications on customer instruments to improve uptime and availability.
* Analyze instrument failures and contribute to overall Service Targets.
* Manage company assets, optimize work schedules, and coordinate with partners for service planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Curiosity about analytical instruments and systems.
* Technical education or chemical background.
* Proficient in German and good knowledge of English language.
* Driving license.
* Excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2-3 years' experience servicing Molecular and/or Chromatography products or as a user.
* Good hardware and software skills, especially of Windows operating systems and applications.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities.
