Roles and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Operator is responsible for packaging, storing, and transporting raw materials, trade goods, and finished products. Tasks also include correctly managing stock and safely shipping our products to customers.
The following are the key responsibilities associated with this position:
1. Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received.
2. Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies.
3. Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed.
4. Contacting suppliers or distributors to resolve any shipment or delivery issues.
5. Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.
6. Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
7. Weighing merchandise and selecting appropriate envelopes, boxes, containers, or crates in which to pack merchandise.
8. Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, which includes retrieving specified merchandise from storage as well as packing, sealing, and labeling merchandise accordingly.
9. Organizing and maintaining order in the entire Warehouse, including the production rooms.
10. Managing the delivery of waste.
11. Managing courier access to the plant.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma from technical school or equivalent (preferably electrical/electronic orientation).
* Two years of logistic experience.
* Advanced manual, relational/organizational skills, and problem-solving orientation.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment, maintaining high quality.
* Able to lift loads required by law and without specific pathologies of the musculoskeletal system.
