The Role
In this role the candidate will trade Soybean market at origins and destinations, identify trading opportunities in the global market, support our global assets and maximize contribution to the Global Trade PnL and market participation, and support with trading and controls.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Trade Manager, the main duties of this role will include:
1. Follow and trade cash markets, at origins North America, South America and black sea;
2. Maintain existing and develop new customers, focus to non-China destinations, pricing accordingly CnF/CIF to customers and internal DM offices;
3. Assist to follow execution processes for contracts and vessels with the execution team, including nominations, specs, documentation and payment ;
4. Follow futures market to identify trends and trading opportunities, to manage risk with the objective of contributing to maximizing results.
5. Follow supply and demand, participate in discussions with particular focus on trade flows forecasts and estimate demand coverage, supporting in providing analysis of market data;
6. Communicating market developments and coordination to/with ADM teams both at local level and globally through analysis, support preparation of market reports;
7. Follow and do logistics controls, coordination with execution, origins, customers and freight.
8. Responsible for trade contracts, pricings, ETF system input and Long/Short position;
9. Commercial controls, help prepare and maintain Position, PNL controls and traded statistics;
Your Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following:
10. Understanding of positions, risk management, cash and futures markets;
11. 3 years working experience trading Agri commodity Cash markets,
12. High degree of numeracy;
13. University degree in economics, business administration, agronomy or similar;
14. Fluent in English; other languages is a plus;
15. Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning
16. Proficient in MS Office.
