Zurich Cover-More is currently looking for a Vice President, Global Human Resources. This position reports to the Chief People Officer and will be based in the new Zurich Cover-More headquarters in New York City. Special remote / virtual office consideration will be made only for the right candidate. This is a newly redesigned role that will be primarily accountable for a team of approximately 20 HR business partners located across ten countries.
In this exciting opportunity you will leverage your diverse human resources experience, deep business acumen and forward-looking analytical mindset to partner with the Executive Leadership Team and HR Centers of Excellence to develop and execute on critical organizational growth and performance strategies. You will support the achievement of business goals through the delivery of organization design, operating model efficiencies, strategic talent recommendations and data-driven analysis and reporting. Further responsibilities will include the support of our continued HR integration efforts and transition activities as we bring people together across Zurich Cover-More and AIG Travel Guard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Consulting with executive leadership and HR Business Partners on employee issues; including advising on talent issues, selection, employee development, retention, compensation philosophy, restructuring, and organizational development needs.
* Providing strategic HR consultation and recommendations regarding the annual performance development cycle, salary reviews, talent management and employee development.
* Advising and supporting executive leadership on HR best practices and processes to ensure alignment across the organization.
* Building and leading a team of strategic HR Business Partners who excel in consulting and relationship-development through strong business acumen.
* Coordinating regional initiatives while working in close collaboration with the respective Centers of Expertise.
* Preparing and analyzing data to provide recommendations on workforce composition, organizational design, etc.
* Supporting the HR workstreams of complex projects such as business transformation, restructuring or new business ventures.
* Partnering with the CPO and the Integration Management Office on the continued integration efforts – cultural, operational and procedural.
* Providing strategic guidance and support around DIEB initiatives that match the unique needs and requirements of each country and region.
* Building and evolving talent management practices that drive alignment and cultural integration across the Zurich Cover-More organization.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree and 12 or more years of experience in the HR Management and Recruiting / Talent Management area.
* Experience building a new company, taking a company public, integrating post-acquisition or leading M&A activities.
* People management and/or team leadership experience.
* Demonstrated skills in strategic consulting, organization design, change management and human resource planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis and design, diversity and inclusion, performance management and multi-country employment laws.
* HR consulting and problem diagnosis experience, including organization change management, human capital planning and employee relations.
* Insurance industry experience.
* Advanced HR data analysis skills to include people analytics and dashboard building.
* Facilitation and presentation skills.
* Business acumen that includes general operational processes, financial management and business planning knowledge.
* Ability to effectively interface with senior executives on an ongoing basis regarding strategic business plans and issues.
* Executive coaching experience.
* Strong ability to partner and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
* PHR or SPHR Certification.
* MBA or Masters in HR.
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The proposed salary range for this position is $197,800 – 270,300 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 35%.
