KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this role you will be able to provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement. Your way of leading assure to manage and mentor senior operational staff, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed and achieve the goals set for the business unit.
One of your major challenges will be to foster effective cross-departments working relationships between the various teams involved in the global processes of watches operations. Your deep involvement in Product Development will be key to set the right basis to facilitate and optimize industrialization and production processes. Your natural leadership will give you the opportunity to be recognized as a facilitator on effective communication and collaboration across the organization and all function based locally and in HQ in Italy.
As a key function and a pilar of your organization, your role also involves developing and implementing operational strategies aligned with Gucci’s overall goals and objectives. In this capacity you will be responsible to translate and communicate strategic plans into actionable and measurable programs respecting all the compliance guidelines and Gucci global policies while respecting local requirements and specific legislation related to watches.
Your ability for innovation and continuous improvement, together with your pragmatical spirit will let you identify and pursue opportunities for growth. Your strong and deep knowledge of the watchmaking and all the industrial process associated permit you to stay abreast of Watch industry trends and best practices to keep the Gucci Watches Business Unit at the forefront of operational excellence. Together with your team, you will be successful in promoting and overseeing all practices that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your ability to understand the business in its globality will also guide you to identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and to drive profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Strong technical background with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the watchmaking industry.
2. Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to make people working together and achieve goals collectively. Strong ability to work closely with interdisciplinary teams and create positive and efficient dynamics.
3. Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities with strong financial acumen
4. Solution oriented and decision-making abilities.
5. Able to work independently in a complex international organizational environment.
6. Fluent in French and English, Italian is a plus.
