The Reservation Manager oversees all aspects of the reservation process ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with the 5-star standards of our company, Red Carnation Hotels, and guest expectations.
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the reservation process, including handling inquiries, managing bookings, confirming reservations, and resolving issues or discrepancies.
Provide a warm, personalised telephone service.
Propose an offer tailored to the customer's requirements, while complying with the hotel's sales guidelines.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy levels, including setting pricing strategies, managing inventory, and implementing upselling and cross-selling initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
Generate reports and analytics related to reservation performance, revenue metrics, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making.
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the reservation team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development, to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Collaborate with other hotel departments, including front office, sales, and marketing, to ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience from booking to check-out, implementing initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Prerequisites: Graduate of a hotel management school or hotel management training course.
At least 3 years' experience in a hotel of the same category in a similar position.
Fluent in French and in English, oral and written expression. Mastering a third foreign language is highly desirable.
Advanced administrative, accounting and IT skills. Mastering a PMS, such as Opera Cloud, is highly desirable.
Courteous, discreet, available and possessing strong sales skills.
Dynamic, customer service-oriented and comfortable with human contact.
