POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sales Engineer for our operations in Denmark. This role involves new business development and achieving the corporate sales and marketing plan for the country. Reporting directly to the National Sales Company Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving and supporting the development of our National Sales Company, aiming to meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Regularly visit potential customers to develop product sales within Denmark.
2. Target key customer groups including Original Equipment Manufacturers, System Integrators, and Panel Builders to create and increase market demand for electronic/electrical automation component products.
3. Implement continuous sales development strategies to enhance sales and profitability in the assigned region.
4. Develop and execute action plans in collaboration with product managers and sales teams to achieve sales objectives.
5. Identify strategic market potentials and opportunities in Denmark, and optimize sales channels for our products.
6. Prepare detailed sales reports to show sales volume, potential sales, and associated business forecasts.
7. Responsible for maintaining and expanding the customer base, including identifying and developing new customers.
8. Manage master data in CRM for own customers and projects, and maintain price agreements, including pricing negotiations.
9. Deepen understanding of applications within industrial automation and effectively communicate the added value our products bring to these applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10. A strong passion for the Industrial and Building Automation market.
11. Ability to work independently and directly with local customers to achieve sales objectives.
12. Effective operation both independently and as part of a team within the assigned territory.
13. Keen understanding of customer needs across different applications and strong commercial acumen.
14. Bilingual proficiency in English and Danish.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools.
