As a Solution Engineer, you work in our Communication Segment supporting the Strategy & Business Development team defining new technical solutions and evaluating the related business opportunities. In this varied role, your key responsibilities are the following:
Know and understand the Lead Customers/Projects as well as the main product and service requirements for today and tomorrow.
Identify new product/solutions opportunities and provide regular information on market and technology trends, dynamics, opportunities, and challenges in territories all over the world.
Responsible for strategic solutions in areas of innovation, 3rd party product integration, and be initiator for mid- and long-term innovation ideas.
Responsible to create business cases to justify new product/solution development, engage internal stakeholders, and help drive the development of new solutions to expand offering/revenue defining requirements for product development projects in accordance with Sales and Technology.
Your profile We are looking for a customer-oriented and highly motivated “driver” who takes ownership!
You have excellent communication skills in an international environment, an understanding of the technologies and topologies used in the mobile communication network, and the ability to learn fast.
Furthermore, you have:
Higher education (e.g. Bachelor degree) in a technical field.
Understanding of radio frequency, power and optic transmission as well as installation experience (FTTA, Cell Site, etc.).
Excellence in written and verbal English; German is an advantage.
PDM and SAP skills.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
