This is a position with grade 08 This position reports to Cluster Leader, DACH Your role and responsibilities This role is an integral part of both the global Robotics Division as well as a key contributor to the overall region''s success. The successful candidate will drive profitable growth initiatives across multiple market segment facing business lines while fostering a customer focused, continuous quality improvement culture within the region division. The successful candidate will lead the Robotics DACH Cluster (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) including the direct management of the Automotive Business Line. This position will also have a fiduciary responsibility for providing guidance and oversight for the other business lines in the Cluster Industries Business Line and Robotics Customer Service which have P&L responsibility for their segments. This position works closely with the BL Leaders of Industries and Customer Service to ensure profitable growth in the Cluster. Business Line leaders of Industry and Customer Service also have reporting relationships to their respective Global Business Line managers. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring the development of performance targets in line with global targets and proactive to the region market. Building and enhancing long lasting relationships with existing and new customers in the region. Ensuring, with the support of HR, that the region teams are sustainably assessed, staffed, trained, and developed in line with business needs. Evaluating market opportunities and deciding appropriate activities in line with the global strategy. Developing and implementing the region strategy and ensuring proper business line alignment with the global strategy. Participating in forums with other senior business area representatives and global division teams on a variety of topics including environment, health, and safety initiatives, workplace practices, and other related license to operate issues. Qualifications for the role At least a Bachelor''s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent. Minimum 15 years of experience in a technical or process leadership role. Minimum 10 years managing the full cycle business in the automation industry. Minimum 10 years of experience managing in a matrix environment, including global organizations. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to travel, including globally as needed. Strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Security rules: HSE is everyone''s business.
