We are seeking a motivated and experienced Specialistin HSE Engineering Support to join our team within the industrialproduction sector. This role is crucial for ensuring safety andcompliance in various engineering projects.
The Specialist will manage LOTOTO procedures, conduct safetywalk-downs and audits, and oversee training management within theHSE Engineering Support team. This is a key position to helpus maintain a safe and efficient working environment throughout ourproject phases.

Responsibilities:
* Organize andmanage LOTOTO (Lock Out Tag Out Try Out) procedures acrossdifferent projects.
* Provide expert advice onLOTOTO activities to ensure safetycompliance.
* Perform safety walk-downs andaudits, including CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) andmanage related reporting.
* Issue permits andmanage audit documentation, particularly for confinedspaces.
* Review and approve risk analyses,ensuring thorough and compliantdocumentation.
* Develop, maintain, and updatesafety procedures and documentation as per legislativechanges.
* Ensure all employees are trained inrelevant safety procedures and that necessary courses areundertaken.
* Approve procedures for theseparation of mechanical systems.
* Ensureawareness of potentially hazardous commissioning activities withinproject teams.
* Maintain clear communicationlines between teams on safety issues throughout the commissioningphase.
* Conduct periodic audits to ensureadherence to PTW (Permit to Work) and LOTOTOprocedures.
* Continuously improve safetypractices during the commissioningphase.
* Report and document any accidents orincidents during commissioning.
* Support thesafety incentive system through communication sessions andsuggestion boxes.
Candidate Profile:
* Education:Technical education or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering,Industrial Engineering, or SafetyEngineering.
* Further Education: ProfessionalHSE accreditation from a recognized institution (e.g., SUVAcertificate).
* Experience: Minimum of five yearsof experience in an EHS role within the chemical, pharmaceutical,or industrial production sectors, with specific experience inLOTO(TO) activities.
* Languages: Fluent inEnglish with advanced German skills (minimum B2level).
* GeneralSkills:
o Advanced knowledge of commissioningpractices, particularly within the construction or pharmaceuticalindustries.
o Strong familiarity with SwissHSE codes and standards.
o Proficient in MSOffice applications.
o Strong understanding ofP&IDs (Piping and InstrumentationDiagrams).
o Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, especially for trainingpurposes.
o Ability to define and optimizeprocess flows and understand cross-processrelationships.
