Job Description
We are seeking a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. This person must have in-depth industry experience to manage and navigate complex projects and timelines, creating innovative custom presentations and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while having a sense of urgency in mind.
Responsibilities:
* Manage client expectations through effective communication of project changes, order timelines and status updates to internal and external stakeholders
* Manage a portfolio of projects with varying clients, timelines, priorities, costs, and logistical complexities
* Achieve each client's marketing objectives through branded merchandise solutions as well as resolve problems and suggest solutions
* Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of solutions
* Expand existing account revenue by introducing HALO's unrivaled set of capabilities
* Lead the product development sourcing lifecycle
* Create exceptional branded merchandise options for each account by utilizing market trend research, client initiatives, and brand strategy
* Serve as the brand ambassador for client(s) and expert on brand guidelines, marketing campaigns, product trends and industry competition
* Utilize vendor relationships and internal resources for resourceful sourcing and quoting strategies, balancing the client's and company's business needs
* Onboard new clients to HALO ways of working: ordering, approvals, quality, production, and more
* Model HALO values of Ingenuity, Inclusion, and Determination while working collaboratively as one national team
* Contribute to winning new client accounts
* Enter and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotes, orders and art proofs
* Generate reports to track open orders and billing progress
* MERCHANDISING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING: ACCURATELY BUILDING PRESENTATION DECKS; MAINTAINING SAMPLE PROCESS; AND COMMUNICATING NECESSARY INFORMATION
* CONDUCT RESEARCH ON SUPPLIER OFFERINGS INCLUDING PRICING, NEW ITEMS, AND KEY MESSAGING INFORMATION
* UNDERSTAND MARKETING TRENDS THAT ALIGN WITH THE CLIENT'S BRAND STANDARDS.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years in similar client-facing, sales roles required
2. 5+ years of promotional product industry experience required
3. 3+ years experience in a project management role required
4. Bachelor's degree (BA) in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent business experience
5. Proficient in Microsoft Teams
6. Advanced knowledge of merchandising, manufacturing and decoration processes as well as supplier and product resources
7. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
8. Proficient in ERP systems
9. Enjoy problem-solving, and helping customers
10. Comfortable making judgment calls, and prioritizing workload
11. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
12. Motivated by working in a goal-oriented, deadline-driven team with autonomy in how you work
13. Ability to deliver under deadlines with a high level of accuracy
