Sales & Operations Planner
We are seeking a committed and highly motivated Sales & Operations Planner to join our Global Sales & Operations Planning Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a sustainable tomorrow through effective capacity planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate demand into capacity planning/slot planning to ensure efficient resource allocation.
* Act as the Single Point of Contact within the Sales & Operations Planning Process for Project Managers, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
* Closely coordinate and collaborate with Commercial, Procurement, Shipping Specialists, and Manufacturing Planners to achieve business objectives.
* Review quotations to assess lead times, consider factory workload, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
* Define supply chain events based on project strategy, lead times, and available capacities.
* Draft, adjust, and update event schedules and prepare them for kick-off meetings.
* Track major events, monitor progress, and proactively define actions with Project Managers, Supply Chain, and Logistics in case of deviations or delays.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Planning or Supply Chain Management.
* Strong proficiency in SAP.
* Excellent customer-focused problem-solving and conflict management skills.
* Team spirit, well-developed communication skills, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
* Very good communication skills in English and good German language skills.
