Your new responsibilities
1. Analyze current testing processes and practices and drive improvements in a key project portfolio in the environment of building automation
2. Define an effective quality assurance strategy that is aligned with the business and quality goals
3. Create and implement manual and automated tests for both functional and non-functional requirements
4. Promote the use of test automation and test-driven development approaches.
5. Manage the design and continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and test environments
6. Ensure testability of requirements, collaborate with software and system architects, and carry out traceability and transparency throughout the development lifecycle
Your talents and experience
7. A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience
8. More than 2 years of experience in software testing, including outstanding knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and tools
9. Experience in test architecture, or a strong interest in developing skills for a test architect role
10. Experience with continuous delivery pipelines such as GitLab CI/CD to deliver high-quality software
11. Knowledge in the area of building technologies protocols like BACnet and general network protocols
12. Proven experience in UI and API test automation architectures (using C# and JavaScript)
13. Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
14. Experience with agile development processes
15. Very good English skills (written and spoken) are a must, German skills are beneficial
