To develop its hydrogen activities in Spain, Alpiq is looking for a Business Developer Hydrogen to support the company growth. You will identify and develop green hydrogen production projects, develop hydrogen related commercial activities and partnerships. This position will be located in Switzerland or in Spain.
Responsibilities
* Developing hydrogen projects targeting industry and heavy mobility applications: analyse opportunities, build business plans, find partners, secure fundings from public support schemes, structure commercial aspects (e.g. electricity supply, hydrogen offtake), manage contractual aspects, contribute to the preparation of internal investment requests.
* Working closely with the country organizations within Alpiq (Origination and renewable asset development).
* Projects stakeholder’s management: local authorities, clients, partners, suppliers.
* Coordinating projects with the team in charge of hydrogen projects technical aspects.
* Reporting projects evolution internally.
* Developing a network in the industry to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
* Analysing M&A opportunities.
* Analysing opportunities to enter new geographies.
* Following closely regulatory developments and perform innovation and market intelligence.
* Promoting Alpiq hydrogen activities and projects in public forums.
Your Profile
* A Master’s degree in Engineering / Finance or related fields from a leading school.
* Ideally, a postgraduate formation in business administration or finance.
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in the energy sector in a business development / strategy / consulting role.
* Solid finance and business development skills, keen eye for opportunities, good intuition, and ability to create and demonstrate value.
* Understanding of, and experience in the energy sector with a network in the industry.
* Self-motivated, autonomous, ability to motivate others and work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
* Spanish and English: full professional proficiency level.
* Willing to travel frequently.
