Expert Science & Technology (Analytical Lab Technician)
Duration: 18 months initial
Position Purpose: As part of our clients Global Technical R&D department within Global Drug Development, you will play a crucial role in developing chemical synthetic processes for the manufacture of future drug substances. The focus will be on Mixed Modality technologies such as Radioligand Therapies, Antibody Drug Conjugates, and Oligonucleotides.
Tasks:
* Develop and optimize analytical methods to control and monitor chemical manufacturing processes and products.
* Plan and perform development of analytical methods in a non-GMP environment.
* Utilize developed analytical methods to generate data on development samples.
* Prepare analytical methods for transfer to a GMP lab.
* Maintain all relevant lab infrastructure.
* Support order and housekeeping of chemicals and reagents required.
* Document experiments and results accurately.
Requirements:
* Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship (focus on analytics). BSC or MSc is also acceptable.
* 1-2 years of experience in method development of analytical methods.
* Proven knowledge of relevant analytical technologies, such as HPLC/UHPLC, including hyphenation with CAD, QTOF, and other MS-based detection. Further knowledge in GC/HS-GC, KF, and other titration systems is desirable.
* Proven experience in the analysis of Mixed Modalities such as ADCs, peptides, Radioligand Therapy, or Oligonucleotides is desirable.
* Advanced knowledge of software and computer tools such as the Office package and chromatography data-evaluation software (e.g., Chromeleon).
* Good documentation skills required during the execution of experiments and documentation of results.
* English (oral and written) is required. German and other language skills are beneficial.
* EU Passport or valid Swiss work permit.
