About the Role:
The Procurement Delivery team provides end-to-end sourcing support across various product lifecycles. As a Sourcing Manager, you will oversee Direct Procurement Operations within a specific region, country, or site and manage supplier relationships (negotiation, contracting, performance management) in alignment with Category Management.
You will be responsible for executing procurement activities efficiently, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality customer service. This includes managing supply chain data, monitoring supplier performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing process improvements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute procurement operations effectively, adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures.
2. Prioritize and address business stakeholder requirements, leveraging applicable category guidance documents and procurement expertise.
3. Leverage technology to drive value-add activities, such as master data management, supplier performance management, and cost savings initiatives.
4. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including status updates, progress reports, and outcomes.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and deliver strategic goals.
6. Apply the sourcing process (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs), using eSourcing tools when necessary, and contribute to new process implementations.
7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and escalate issues promptly to ensure seamless delivery of Direct Procurement Operations targets.
Your Requirements:
1. University degree in business administration or technical field plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with technical products, and familiarity with basic contracting processes.
3. Fluency in both English and German languages.
4. Proficiency in business enterprise systems and overall procurement methodologies.
5. Demonstrated understanding of internal stakeholder functions and stakeholder management principles.
Nice to Have:
1. Previous procurement experience within a product-oriented industry, such as manufacturing, medical devices, automotive, electronic, or other relevant sectors.
2. Project management skills and knowledge of related tools and methodologies.
