We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a IT Support Engineer. The role is a permanent position based in Zurich Canton with very good home office allowance.
Your Role:
* Support the installation & configuration of computer systems, diagnose hardware & software errors & find solutions for technical & application problems.
* Guide IT users through a series of actions, either in person or remotely, to help them set up systems or solve problems.
* Explain technical aspects in a way that is understandable to ordinary users.
* Test & evaluate new systems & technologies & assist in their introduction.
* Maintain an ITSM tool with tickets, solutions, assets, configurations & release notes.
* Manage technical documentation & operating instructions.
* Utilize the following technology stack: Microsoft Office 365/E3, MS Teams, Windows Server 2016 & 2019, CITRIX Workspace, SQL & Oracle DB, Dell & HP clients with Windows 10/11.
Your Skills:
* At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT Support Engineering.
* A very good knowledge of Computer Hardware & Network Systems.
* A very proficient understanding of Windows Server / Windows 10 Environments.
* Experienced with the Office 365 Suite & Microsoft Teams.
* Any experience in EDI Tools & Platforms is considered advantageous.
* Ideally experienced within Industrial Environments.
Your Profile:
* Further Educated / Trained in Computer Science or Business Informatics
or similar.
* Self-motivated, structured, solution-oriented & a team-player with very good communication skills.
* Fluent in English (spoken & written), German language skills are considered a very strong plus.
