Key Responsibilities:
* Supplier Relationship Management: Serve as the primary business contact for assigned B2B partner accounts, ensuring strong and effective long-term collaboration.
* Supplier Performance Management: Lead regular business review meetings, analyze operational and service quality metrics, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Market Analysis & Growth: Monitor country performance, gather market intelligence, and identify new opportunities for revenue growth and business expansion.
* Strategic Project Execution: Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring successful implementation of initiatives and business development projects.
* Service Delivery Optimization: Collaborate with supporting functions to enhance service delivery and drive efficiency improvements.
* Industry Representation: Represent DiscoverCars.com at industry and networking events; international travel required (~15-20% of working time).
* Long-Term Planning & Reporting: Prepare strategic development plans for assigned accounts and territories, using internal BI tools to analyze historical performance.
* Territory Development: Use data-driven insights to drive business growth and align strategies with the company objectives.
* Team Collaboration: Support and mentor junior colleagues, contribute to team success, and actively participate in company-wide initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management within an international company, with a proven track record of success.
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with suppliers worldwide.
* Cross-Cultural Competence: Experience working with international partners and understanding diverse business practices.
* Negotiation & Sales Acumen: Confidence in negotiating favorable business terms while maintaining excellent partnerships.
* Analytical & Business Mindset: Ability to evaluate supplier performance, identify risks, and implement data-driven improvements.
* Accountability & Reliability: Proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and execute complex projects successfully.
* Growth & Positive Mindset: Ambition for professional development, embracing learning opportunities, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of travel, car rental, and mobility industries is a plus.
* Technical Skills (Preferred): Experience with tools such as Google Sheets, MS Excel, PowerBI, Looker Studio, Posthog, Pipedrive, Confluence, and Jira.
