The main tasks and responsibilities include:
* Collecting, compiling, analysing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data on the global Nickel market, Stainless Steel, Batteries, and Ferroalloy markets.
* Maintaining and developing a structured approach to the storage and analysis of statistical information, including supply, demand and trade data, stock movements, macroeconomic indicators, and cost of production models.
* Assimilating information sourced from the company’s extensive network of field offices and from external industry sources and contacts.
* Identifying market trends and economic developments affecting the international Nickel, Stainless Steel, and Ferroalloy markets, and providing real-time feedback and ideas on the markets to the relevant trading teams in Baar.
* Developing and maintaining internal technical reports and models.

Qualifications and requirements:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in an applicable/related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in an analytical or business intelligence role preferred, but not a requirement. Graduates with the right demonstrable skills may also be considered.
* Analytical skills, with the ability to review data, spot trends, and identify key drivers.
* Good IT skills including standard applications, operating systems, databases, and Excel.
* Advanced presentation, research, and verbal/written communication skills.
* Fluent in English spoken and written (corporate language).
* Holding a Swiss work permit or passport holder of CH/EU.
