The Market Development Specialist Neuromodulation (NMD) contributes to develop the national marketing strategy and marketing plan in consultation with the sales management, in order to contribute to the achievement of sales objectives and market share.
Responsibilities:
60% Market Development activities Participates actively in the rollout of product launch campaigns, round tables, workshops and any kind of local technical / clinical / marketing events. It contributes to develop the tools tailored to the needs of sales teams and customers. He / She provides operational support to the sales force by hosting meetings in customer centers
Develops a strong network within the national KOLs and contributes to establish the Abbott brand within their centers
Based on knowledge of the domestic NMD market (volume, shares per account …), competition monitoring and sales figure analysis, identifies market opportunities and steers the sales force towards efficient targeting
Monitors the life of the NMD products (launch, marketing plan, management of product recalls, etc...)
Participates in the training of technical and commercial teams in connection with the EMEA training team
40% of the Time Field Technical Support Technical Support in Programming and Implants on all NMD Therapies; provides assistance to the physicians for implants and follow-ups
Holiday backup of Team in Switzerland on all NMD therapies
Qualifications: Medical or scientific higher education in the biomedical field or equivalent
Marketing training is a plus - academic, business school or continuing education
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the sale or marketing of medical devices or as an application engineer
Fluency in English and German (written and oral) is mandatory, French is desirable
Proven skills in project and program management
Proactive self-starter with good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
