Microelectronics Business Development Manager - DACH Region
We are seeking a highly skilled Microelectronics Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies in the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaison Role: Act as the primary liaison between the company and customers in the DACH region, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Customer Strategy: Monitor customer strategies and needs, providing insights to inform business decisions.
* RFP Management: Oversee and coordinate all customer-related RFP activities, ensuring timely and effective responses.
* P&L Management: Collaborate with internal teams to address P&L concerns and drive cost savings.
* Business Growth: Develop and execute plans to grow customer business, contributing to annual budget planning.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and SCM, to align efforts around customers.
* New Business Development: Dedicate approximately 50% of time to prospecting and networking to develop new market opportunities.
* Client Acquisition: Secure new clients and markets that align with the company's capabilities, driving top-line growth.
* Value Proposition: Present compelling value propositions to new prospects, winning significant new opportunities.
Requirements:
* Educational Background: Master's degree in Engineering with experience in the electronics/healthcare industry.
* Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in microelectronics products.
* Sales Experience: Proven B2B sales experience, demonstrating consistent success in closing deals.
* Soft Skills: Customer-centric, positive attitude with strong listening, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Personal Qualities: Self-driven, organized, and able to manage cross-functional efforts through influence.
* Communication Skills: Strong internal and external communication skills.
* Results Orientation: Results-oriented, with a track record of driving top-line growth and contributing to EBITDA.
* Language Skills: Fluent in German and English; French would be a plus.
* Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently (minimum 50%).
