Accountant Position
We are seeking a German-speaking Accountant for our client, an international boutique trust company in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage client accounting independently
* Prepare interim, monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with OR
* Oversee financial accounting, including liquidity planning
* Manage payroll accounting
* Connect social insurances, including annual declarations
* Lead technical management of 2-3 clerks/apprentices (international)
* Contract management
* Assist in the compliance process
* Prepare tax returns for legal entities
* Control tax assessments and tax invoices
* Support and advise on international and national client mandates
* Make client payments
* Maintain and update client dossiers
* Digital and paper filing
* Prepare minutes and powers of attorney
* Assist in setting up/establishing a company
* Participate in internal meetings
* Lead professional presentations for internal training
Requirements
* Commercial training
* Completed further training as a trustee FA/accountant FA
* At least 5 years' experience in trusteeship, preferably in an international environment
* Proficiency in PC skills (Windows / Office / Sage / Abacus)
* Excellent client communication skills
* Friendly appearance, even in challenging situations
* Quality awareness (annual accounts, documents)
