Job Description: Are you an engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and driving customer success in industrial automation ? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Spreitenbach, Switzerland, and collaborate with our EMEA distributor network. This role fuses hands-on technical expertise with customer and partner engagement, centered on our state-of-the-art motion control, servo drives, and automation products .
You’ll hit the road ~40% of the time, teaming up with distributors to visit key customers, forge strong relationships, and deliver technical guidance on product applications. This is a dynamic, high-impact role for someone who loves diving into technical challenges, excels at troubleshooting, and is eager to empower distributors with real-world solutions while fueling business growth across EMEA.
Team up with distributors to visit customers, build brand trust, and spot new sales opportunities.
Provide expert technical support on motion control, servo drives, and automation systems, tackling troubleshooting and guiding seamless product integration.
Dive into technical discussions with customers, uncover their needs, and craft tailored solutions.
Arm distributors with training, technical know-how, and tools to dominate their markets.
Collect market insights and share them with internal teams to sharpen strategies and product offerings.
Travel across EMEA to hash out project risks and technical details with partners and customers.
Forge lasting relationships while syncing with internal teams to deliver for distributors and customers.
Qualifications An engineer with a track record in sales or partner/channel management in industrial automation, motion control, or servo drives .
Armed with a background in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering and practical know-how in technical applications.
Ready for 40%+ travel and comfortable working independently with little oversight.
A sharp problem-solver who shines in technical and commercial conversations.
Fluent in English (German’s a major plus; French is a bonus).
Collaborative, proactive, and fired up to influence sales, marketing, and product development teams.
