This post is responsible for managing implementation of two of the three pillars of the team’s strategy, including Products and People, as well as contributing to Systems. Its overarching role is to ensure audience needs are incorporated across all of the team’s work.
How can you make a difference?
* Strategically engages with all public and private sector audiences, focusing on high-value audiences (business, foundations, philanthropists, bilaterals, and multilaterals), to inform the team’s deliverables, maximizing high-quality, flexible income and the highest level of results for children.
* Strategically contributes to the Results Project, aiming to be a credible partner by delivering a strong results narrative for all partners, requiring significant stakeholder management and technical support on UNICEF’s Results Model.
* Oversees the content development process for all programmatic content, ensuring best practices across the partnership cycle, including high-quality donor reporting.
* Manages change management initiatives, including capacity building, through the sustainable roll-out of training programs.
To qualify as a Champion for every child you will have…
Education:
* An advanced university degree in marketing, economics, social sciences, fundraising, international relations, communication, law, or business administration is required.
* A first-level university degree with two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
Experience:
* A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience in communications, fundraising, or programme management is required.
* Experience with UNICEF or other development agencies is an asset.
* At least five years of experience with both private and public sector audiences is required.
* Experience in results-based management and creating large-scale training programs is an asset.
* Proven experience in driving senior-level change management initiatives is required.
* Exceptional communication skills and experience in delivering compelling presentations are required.
Language requirements:
* Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.
