TEAM
The Procurement & Supplier Management department, reporting to the Deputy CEO, serves as the primary point of contact for external service providers. Its mission is to ensure the proper implementation of standards and procedures while securing the best commercial terms.
With its diverse expertise, the Procurement department plays a vital role across multiple business sectors including IT, real estate, travel, security, facilities, consulting, and more. The department is responsible for maintaining good relationships with suppliers, managing purchasing needs, controlling expenses, monitoring supplier-related risks, and ensuring local market intelligence.
WORK DAY
The Buyer is responsible for maintaining strong provider relationships, managing procurement needs, controlling expenses, and monitoring supplier-related risks, while staying informed on local market conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Bid Tenders: Define strategies, prepare documents, assist with specifications, implement local strategies, select suppliers, negotiate terms, and recommend choices.
* Purchase Requests: Manage and challenge requests, ensure compliance.
* Contract Management: Draft and manage contracts, oversee performance, follow up on renewals and remediations.
* Category Management: Manage procurement needs, streamline supplier base, propose cost-saving initiatives, assess suppliers, conduct market sourcing, and monitor spend analysis.
PROFILE
* Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement.
* Excellent communication skills in French and English.
* Ability to work under pressure, structured, organized, autonomous, accurate, and detail-oriented.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract structure, IT categories, and relevant regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
SKILLS
* In-depth knowledge of procurement and accounts payable processes.
* Understanding of contract structures.
* Familiarity with IT categories (software, hardware, telecom, professional services).
* Knowledge of relevant regulations (DORA and FINMA).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
* Proven ability to negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to develop and adapt processes effectively.
