The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the key registrars in EMEA and is responsible for liasing with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is expected to consistently liaise with customers to ensure they receive excellent customer service as well as represent client needs and meet the goals of Verisign to ensure targets are achieved. This position plays a pivotal role to ensure the participating registrars are executing according to plan and provide updates to the team in a frequent and organized manner.
1. They are responsible for strategic client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. Communicates the client's goals and represents the client's interests to the team. Provides regular communication between the client and team to build strong team representation and set proper client expectations. Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Account Director of any problems that may arise.
2. They ensure meeting revenue and growth target of the accounts in EMEA region as well as the overall growth of EMEA Pursues opportunities for account growth and new business.
3. Reports to the Account Director, providing regular input on all account activity, including weekly status and reports. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
Education/Experience:
4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business /Marketing
5. 3 years proven account management experience with focus on marketing
This role will require extensive European & U.S. travel – please expect to be travelling 25% - 40% of the working year.
