Job Title: ASM/Deputy Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager (ASM)/Deputy Manager for a leading Lifestyle brand in Zurich-City. The successful candidate will support the Store Manager in leading the team, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership:
* Recruit, integrate, and train new staff members to ensure a seamless onboarding process
* Inspire team members to deliver exceptional customer service and continuously develop their skills
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication and feedback
* Resolve conflicts impartially and facilitate effective meetings to drive team performance
* Drive team performance to meet sales targets and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and a unique shopping experience
* Stay up-to-date with collections and stock availability to provide accurate information to customers
* Brand Representation:
* Ensure the store environment is safe, clean, and welcoming to customers
* Implement visual merchandising that aligns with brand standards and enhances the overall shopping experience
* Educate the team on merchandising principles to maintain consistency across the store
* Store Management:
* Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with labor laws to optimize store operations
* Monitor financial procedures and analyze sales results to identify areas for improvement
* Facilitate efficient communication within the hierarchy to ensure seamless decision-making
* Store Organization:
* Ensure proper maintenance of the store, stockroom, and materials to maintain a high level of operational efficiency
* Oversee logistical tasks such as deliveries, stock management, and inventory to minimize disruptions
* Maintain security and hygiene standards to protect employees and customers
Requirements:
* Education: Relevant education in Retail, Sales, or Management
* Experience: Proven experience in Retail sales and store management, preferably in a deputy role
* Customer Focus: Highly customer-oriented with excellent customer care and experience skills
* Initiative and Drive: Strong drive and initiative to take on challenges and achieve goals
* PR and Marketing: Prior experience in PR and marketing activities to enhance brand awareness
* Sales Strategy: Proficient in sales strategy and able to drive sales growth
* Financial Skills: Skilled with numbers, budgeting, and basic financial knowledge
* Commitment: High commitment to the brand and employer, with a flexible schedule and willingness to work various shifts
* Languages: Fluency in German and English, with other languages representing an advantage
* Professionalism: Able to balance a casual style with strict professionalism in the workplace
