The Ripple Custody team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our Europe team. This role will bridge the gap between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) by building infrastructure to tokenize, store, and settle value in a simple, secure, and compliant way.
Job Summary
This Senior Sales Manager position requires working with various customer segments, including large global banks, regional banks, and crypto companies. You will lead conversations with customers about security and governance on the custody platform, including deployment models, permission models, and features related to entitlements and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure commercial relationships with Ripple customers in the DACH region.
* Assist the Europe sales team in achieving quarterly and annual targets.
* Act as the voice of the customer and collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success/sales teams to drive new use cases for custody and other products.
* Analyze client requirements and align them with product capabilities.
* Manage live demonstrations for clients and sandbox environments.
* Inform and help shape the product roadmap with client feedback.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology and digital asset use cases.
* Preferably, a good understanding of the digital asset custody market.
* Strong network with relationships with large financial institutions, asset managers, and crypto natives.
* 10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development or equivalent.
* 5+ years of relevant experience advising and selling to financial institutions.
* German speaking and/or relevant DACH market experience.
* Demonstrated track record of successful sales or business development support.
